Fees

Fees depend on which clinican you see.  The range is between 140.00 and 170.00 per session -- all of which is significantly lower than the recommended rate put forth by the Australian Psychological Society.  If you are referred by your GP or psychiatrist under the Medicare Benefits Schedule, you will be eligible to receive a substantial rebate from Medicare.

Currently, fees are payable by only cheque or cash.  Eftpos facilities will be made available soon.

Confidential and compassionate care that is of the best quality.  We abide by the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics and as a part of top-quality care, all clinicians have been carefully selected and are supervised by Drs. Tania Trapolini or Elizabeth Seeley-Wait. 

All clinicians at Western Sydney Psychology Practice and Northern Sydney Psychology Clinic possess:

Appointments

You do not need a referral from your GP to make an appointment.   

You do need a Mental Health Care Plan and referral from your GP (or psychiatrist) should you wish to come under the Medicare scheme and receive a rebate.

Rebates

Insurance: Many insurance companies will provide rebates for this form of specialist care.  We are registered with many insurance companies.  Please check with your particular company for specific details.  Let us know if you need something from us to facilitate this process.

Better Access to Mental Health: Medicare rebates will apply to those who have a Mental Heatlh Care Plan that they bring with them from their GP.  If eligible, your GP (or psychiatrist) will register you with Medicare and you can receive a substantial rebate for each session. After 6 treatment sessions, you will be reviewed by your GP or psychiatrist and you may be then be eligible for a further 6 sessions.
